Back in the day, mid 50's to mid 60's, there were a lot of air personalities playing Rhythm and Blues. Jocks such as Alan Freed, Wolfman Jack, Hoss Allen, John R., Jockey Jack, Bugs Scruggs ( The Man With the Plugs ), Hound Dog, Georgie Woods and The Magnificent Montague. In southern Ohio, there was Bob "Mr. Movin" Patton who developed quite a following with his nightly radio show. He also hosted many live shows with artists such as BB King, Jerry Butler, Sam Cooke, Solomon Burke and James Brown to name a few.
Well, HEEEEEE`S BACK! We're proud to present Bob "Mr. Movin" Patton and the Blues Train. To hear portions of the demo program, click one of the track numbers on the main page. Watch for program updates as we post them!
